REGIONAL BUILDING TRADES RALLY TO INTRODUCE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO UNION APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES
RAMAPO, NY – More than 600 high school students from Westchester and Putnam met with leaders of more than 20 construction and building unions and private-company employers earlier this month to learn about career opportunities in the building trades. The event, called Construction Career Day, was held Friday, March 4, at Rockland Community College.
