Seminar Draws 41 Engineers to Learn New Ways to Solve Engineering Designs

Topics Included High-Performance Concrete, Reducing Liabilities, 3-D Modeling, BIM, Steel and Foundation Design, Firestopping

TARRYTOWN, NY–A seminar for engineers was held on Wed., June 19 at the Tappan Hill Mansion where 41 engineers earned six continuing education credits (PDH) in a program entitled “Construction Solutions for Engineering Designs.”

The panel of speakers included William Lyons III, FACI, of The Euclid Chemical Company; Thomas H. Welby, Esq., P.E. and Anthony Carlucci, Esq., of the law firm Welby, Brady & Greenblatt, LLP; Michael J. Squarzini, P.E., of Thornton Tomasetti; Alfred H. Brand, P.E., of Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers; Matthew Cichetti, P.E., of Cichetti/Earth Construction Services; and Brad Hopkins, a fire protection sales specialist with General Insulation Company, Inc. CAI Executive Director Ross J. Pepe moderated the daylong program.
